 SCHOOL

The undersigned would inform the citizens of this town and the surrounding country that he expects to continue his School in the Upper Room of the North Academy until the first of May next. All desirous of attending this school can by paying the sum of three dollars for the term of thirteen weeks or sixty six days. Any family can send two scholars one term for $5.

Extra charges will be made for the higher branches such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Surveying, Cemistry, Latin and Greek.

     Mr. Editor: I seen a piece in your paper headed who can beat it by Mr. D. PHELPS, stating the number of grains of corn he raised from one kernel I can beat it. I raised 1,853 sound grains from one. He raised 1,350. So, come to me for your seed, Mr. Phelps.
